The Errol Estate Country Club Women's Golf Association (WGA) has been an integral part of Errol for over 30 years. The group was organized in 1972. Our first president was Jackie McBride and she is still a very active participant in the Association - both as a golfer and in its business affairs. We currently have 94 members and are proud to recommend the WGA to all women members of Errol.

The WGA's 18-hole group fields events on Thursdays throughout the year. Participants are paired by computer one day each month when the group fields a specific tournament, followed by lunch. No fewer than 3 general meetings are

held per fiscal golf year. An Annual Meeting is scheduled in April.

On the remaining Thursday play-days, women may sign up individually or make their own foursomes. A Yearbook published in the fall of each year provides a directory of all EECCWGA members as well as a calendar, the bylaws, procedures, weekly special event schedules and committee chairpersons.

The WGA welcomes new members. All Errol Estate Country Club women members with an established handicap and who pay the nominal dues are eligible to become members. 

The WGA incorporates additional activities such as Crystal Cup, Challenge Cup and Inter-Club events. These are a very important part of belonging to the WGA. 

The 2006 elected officers for the WGA are: Mary Jo Carney, President; Sue McNally, Vice President; Roxanne Powers, Treasurer; and Barbara Knibbs, Secretary.
